ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

Eyelid surgery is tailored to the needs of each patient and may involve the upper eyelid, lower eyelid, or both. In the upper eyelid, excess skin and protruding fat that create a tired look or limit peripheral vision are addressed. In the lower eyelid, puffiness and dark circles caused by fat protrusion or skin laxity are treated.

In some cases, fat is not simply removed but repositioned to fill hollow areas beneath the eye, such as the tear trough, rather than being fully excised. This approach helps achieve a more natural, balanced transition between the eye and cheek.
